2022.06 – Tech Session

Little Helpers is a label you’ve probably never heard of, but it’s one of the most diverse and prolific in the Techno/House community. Releases don’t have names, only numbers and the styles span the gamut from Minimal Techno to Breakbeat, but the sweet spot tends to be Tech House. The tracks are best used for transition or layer mixing, so some may find this mix boring, but that’s the point.

2021.05 – LAXno – Techno from DTLA (May)

Los Angeles has THE BEST underground Techno scene in America today and now that events are starting to get scheduled again, I thought it was time to share a mix to get you back into the swing of things. Deep, heady, chin-stroking Techno, with bits of fury and it all ends on a pretty note. And YES…there are really Freak Chakra and RITM tunes in there. I edited a few of the tunes before mixing, so they’d blend better with my style. Enjoy!

2021.01 – DNB 4 2021

I like my Drum & Bass like I like my caves: deep, dark and a little creepy. Full of tight percussion, nasty synths and the occasional vocal element, this is 72 minutes of new tracks I’m really diggin. I hope you enjoy

2021.08 – Sounds of Selekta Recordings

Way back in the early days of the interwebz, I was part of an online magazine: Selekta. Over the years, the magazine faded away, but my buddy Dennis Lowry kept the name alive with a web-based record label. With over 100 releases and 15+ years of good vibes, he asked me to put together a mix for their upcoming podcast and release on the label. All of these, except for my edits, are available wherever you buy awesome House music.

2020.06 – Quarantine Tunes – Vol 7 (June 27)

Last one in the Quarantine Series, I decided to make a mix on my birthday that is mainly Playa & deeper House. Things stay pretty tame, til half way through, when the tempo picks up, but everything ends on a chill note.

2004.03 – Weekend Special #6

This is a collection of Tech House, Progressive House and some other stuff in between, all representing the Past, Present and the Future of the sound. 26 tracks mixed on 3 decks as seamlessly as I know how, to let you sink deep into that 3am warehouse experience. Approximate track start times added, if you want to trainspot. Enjoy.

2002 – Mutant Disco Demo

If my dates are correct, I recorded this in Spring 2002 and I’m pretty sure I plonked a tape in the tape deck after visiting Platinum Records for the first time, after moving to Seattle. San Francisco style house was all the rage and I made it a point to collect all of it. Is it perfect? Far from it, but there’s some old gems in there. I trainspotted everything I can recall.
